About Matt: Your Local Swansea Dog Trainer
My journey into dog training wasn't a choice—it was born from necessity and heartbreak. My first dog was my best friend, but I didn't know what I didn't know about training. One day, he ran out into the road and was killed. It was a direct result of my inability to train a reliable recall.
That day changed my life. I vowed to never let that happen again—to myself or to anyone else. I dived headfirst into the world of dog training, learning everything I could from the best in the business. I spent time as a professional protection dog handler and decoy in one of the most well established companies in the UK. During this time I learnt from some incredibly experienced trainers and worked with some of the most powerful and highly trained dogs in the country.
Now, with over 10 years of experience, I've dedicated my life to helping families build a better relationship with their dogs. I know the pain and frustration you're feeling, and I know how to help you get to the other side.
My approach is simple, effective, and built for the real world. I'm not here to judge you or your dog. I'm here to give you the tools and support you need to create a calm, confident life with your four-legged friend.
